Tenants

All of our properties are advertised in the office and on the website.  Should you wish to call into the office we will be pleased to assist you and we will endeavour to meet your housing requirements.

After viewing a property all applicants are requested to complete an application form, in order to obtain all required information.

In addition to an application form, all applicants must provide:

  • Latest bank statements (at least one statement)
  • 3 recent wage slips
  • Employers Reference
  • Landlords Reference – if currently renting
  •  Photographic ID (Passport / Driving Licence)

Please note that in cases of self-employment we will require the last 3 years accounts.

Please be aware that some properties also have restrictions on them with regards to pets/housing benefits/students. Unfortunately this is out of our hands and thus lies with the landlord.

As soon as an application has been approved, usually within 7-10 days after all information has been obtained, we will arrange a suitable time for the signing of all tenancy agreements and documents, paying the deposit and initial rent, as well as the collection of the keys.

The deposit/bond is insured under the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). Tenancies are generally assured short hold tenancies with a term of 6 months. Thereafter the tenancy continues on a rolling month basis until the tenant gives 1 month notice in writing or the landlord gives 2 months notice in writing. An inventory will be prepared at the commencement of the tenancy, we ask that this is checked by yourselves and returned to us as soon as possible as this will be checked at the end of the tenancy.
